Graphic Designer

Sagebrush Church is a multi-site church based in Albuquerque, NM. Sagebrush offers a casual environment where people can experience contemporary worship and relevant teaching from the Bible. Our goal is to help people see how God is relevant to everyday life. We believe that the church should be culturally relevant, while remaining doctrinally pure. This includes the concept of sensitively relating to our culture through our facility, printed materials, and use of the arts. 

The mission of Sagebrush is to know Christ and to make Christ known. In the endeavor to make Christ known, Sagebrush relies upon multimedia elements within the worship setting to illustrate, teach, and inform. Sagebrush maintains a staff of creative professionals that develop, design, and produce content in-house to maintain the level of creativity and excellence that has become a trademark of Sagebrush Church.

We’re looking for a full-time graphic designer well versed in all forms of design, ranging from print to digital, to join our team; someone with big picture vision and a critical eye for detail. 

Design responsibilities include conceptualization and design of series art, branding, apparel, posters, booklets, and other print or digital work. The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge, and skill sets in the following areas:

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Relevant education degree/experience (Graphic Design, Illustration Design, Multimedia Design or related degree)
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign in a Mac environment
  • 2-3 years of professional Graphic and Print Design experience
  • Fearlessness. The ability to make decisions without anyone telling you to
  • Some html knowledge is helpful as well
  • Thorough knowledge of print production
  • An eye for aesthetics, accuracy and detail
  • Capacity to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a multidisciplinary design skill set

The right candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong visual design skills, be a creative person who is not afraid to come up with fun, novel and interesting concepts, and be able to articulate the thought behind each concept. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to turn over projects quickly and efficiently. An eye for detail is critical to success in this position. Since you’ll work closely with others on our team, we also hope that you’re collaborative and fun to work with.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Other possible peripheral skills or background experience that would be beneficial to an individual applying for this position could include illustration or animation, 3D rendering, web and app design.

Essential Profile

Individual profile needs: Seasoned believer, forward-thinker, persuasive, change-driver with the emphasis on leading, shepherding and discipleship

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate watching the main weekend message/sermon, providing inspirational guidance and direction to the congregation
  • Provide leadership and vision for the assigned campus, and build a team to help shepherd to ministry groups including men, women, young adults, students, and kids
  • Champion the importance of small groups and encouraging attendees in assimilating into small group life
  • Build life long disciples who fully integrate into the congregation and body of the church.
  • Assist and contribute to the campus operations, special events and big community events
  • Develop and implement creative ideas for small group connection events and community outreach events
  • Contribute to identifying, recruiting, training and guiding the campus small group leaders
  • Facilitate ongoing leader training events and new ownership seminars
  • Stay active in the community while maintaining an engaging social media presence
  • Work closely with the Worship Pastor and collaborate on weekend services
  • Follow up on weekend decisions and baptism requests, providing pastoral care and counsel
  • Qualifications
  • Maintain a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and have a strong working knowledge of the Bible
  • 3-5 years of college leadership experience with a proven track record of achievement
  • Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies/Divinity or similar discipline, other coursework will be considered
  • Technically savvy with a preference for social media
  • Ability to collaborate with other ministry departments while maintaining a humble servant attitude
  • An energetic persona to connect with young adults and lead them to the church community

Qualifications

  • Maintain a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong working knowledge of the Bible
  • 5-7 years of experience in ministry, familiarity with a multi-site model is a plus
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of achievement
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in divinity, other coursework will be considered
  • Passionate about investing in personal relationships within the community
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Associate Campus Pastor

Location: Albuquerque, Northeast Heights Campus

Essential Profile

Individual profile needs seasoned believer, entrepreneurial, strategist, leadership, discipleship, and change-driver.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to, and execute on an action-packed strategic plan for the campus.
  • Lead RISE services, a worship experience for young adults ages 18-28. RISE also encompasses college students, young professionals, married couples, and parents.
  • Champion the importance of small groups and assist attendees in assimilating into groups.
  • Provide leadership and operational support to the campus while assisting teams for special events e.g., movie in the park, campus cookouts and Spring clean up days etc. 
  • Contribute to identifying, recruiting, developing and guiding the young adult small group leaders.
  • Provide support for NEXT Ownership seminars and follow-up on weekend decisions; along with coordinating outdoor baptism celebrations.
  • Lead a weekly young adult group for the purpose of developing leaders for the campus and RISE.
  • Facilitate ongoing leader training events and coordinate short-term groups that are held at the campus.
  • Provide pastoral care/support in the form of hospital visits, weddings and funerals, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Maintain a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and have a strong working knowledge of the Bible
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of achievement and growth
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Divinity, other coursework will be considered

Production Coordinator

We are currently in search of an experienced audio/visual production coordinator to join our Production Team.

Essential Profile

Individual profile needs seasoned believer, change-driver, forward-thinker, decisive in the moment, and a great communicator.

Responsibilities
  • Direct production elements and mix audio/sound for assigned campus and ministry
  • Meet regularly with ministry staff/leadership to cooperate and produce innovative solutions
  • Provide production technical support at the campus and for the Living Free ministry
  • Responsible for all lighting set changes for the assigned campus and ministry
  • Recruit an develop a team of volunteers that can run audio/video/lighting for the campus, Living Free ministry and special events 
  • Work directly to build a team of REMIX production volunteers who can support the Student Team at the Highland campus
  • Process and complete all tickets and technical support for the assigned campus
  • Work with central production team to load and test weekend content package
  • Follow through on all assigned tasks directed by the Production Director and Assistant
Qualifications
  • Maintain a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong working knowledge of the Bible
  • 2-3 years experience in live performance sound equipment operations
  • Lighting and video experience in a contemporary church setting, a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease and grace

Student Director

The mission of Sagebrush is to know Christ and to make Christ known. We are currently looking for a Student Director/Pastor for our student ministry known as REMIX.

Job Description

The Student Director/Pastor will see to the health and wellbeing of the student body through thought-provoking, spiritually uplifting worship experiences, ongoing Christian education programs, care and counseling, and social activities that promote church and community spirit.

Essentail Profile

Individual profile needs: seasoned believer, teachable spirit, entrepreneurial, strategist, seasoned judgment, time managing, captivating and change-driver.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other Student Pastors/Directors to develop a shared message series with the same general content and work strategically to take the message each week and customize it with unique stories and creativity.
  • Invest in relationships with students, and staff, at the high schools, middle schools and youth organizations through campus ministry and outreach activities.
  • Develop and execute on an action-packed strategic plan for the campus student ministry.
  • Champion the need for and connections to Sagebrush REMIX Small Groups.
  • Recruit, develop and oversee the REMIX volunteer program.
  • Oversee all campus events and discipleship programs.
  • Provide weekly communication for parents, leaders and staff.
  • Interact with other teams at your location to ensure a seamless experience for guests attending our church.
  • Coordinate and participate in the tear down and set up of the multi-site campus, if applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Campus Pastor or Executive Student Pastor.
Qualifications
  • Maintain a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ with a strong working knowledge of the Bible.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in youth ministry is a plus, however, entry-level youth volunteers are encouraged to apply.

  • Team player who can collaborate with ministry departments and maintain a humble servant attitude.
