The Bible tells us that the church is not a building or a place but the people. Each of us has abilities, passions, and spiritual gifts to serve each other and build God’s Kingdom. It is the service of more than two thousand team members that enables Sagebrush to make an impact across the world.
Sagebrush desires to make Christ known in our communities. M1 Game Day is an event that happens multiple times a year where, as a church, we gather to serve our communities together. From creating meal packages, to distributing supplies to teachers or the homeless population, to food drives, M1 Game Day exists to make Christ known as we serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.
Community Connect provides food, clothing, and personal hygiene items to communities in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Community Connect trailers are loaded during the week and are set up at Sagebrush locations for those in need to attend service and receive needed items. Donations of non-perishable food, gently used clothing, and unopened hygiene products are accepted at all Sagebrush locations.
Our Audio team ensures a great experience for guests by setting up, mixing, and monitoring sound for services and events.
Several of our locations meet in schools or other facilities each week. Our dedicated Set Up and Tear Down team gets all the supplies needed to provide the Sagebrush experience by setting up chairs, equipment, and kids and student environments.
For those who have been gifted with the ability to sing or play instruments, our Worship team is a great chance to use those gifts to lead others in praising God. The Worship team serves with students, young adults, care and recovery, and all of our locations on the weekend.
We want our services to feel like home. Guest Services makes sure to stock supplies, answer questions and give tours to new guests, greet every person at the door, and help guests find seats inside service.
Our services are designed as an experience for every person at every location. Our Tech team ensures everything runs smoothly by providing video support and technical assistance.
Our friendly parking team make a first impression for every person arriving for services. They greet guests with a wave and operate shuttles, fill in parking lot spaces, and keep traffic moving between services.
Visual presentation is a key part of the Sagebrush experience. Our Lighting team assists with stage design assembly, equipment set up, and lighting board operation during services.
We could not have multisites without the ability to bring in needed equipment. Our dedicated Trailer Towing team picks up, delivers, and returns trailers so that we can be a church in many locations. Team members should have a ¾-ton truck or bigger to tow.
Our Care and Recovery service has many serving opportunities. Just like on the weekend, we offer kids and students programming, and also need Guest Services, Worship, and Tech teams present. This is a great chance to serve during a weekday evening or to join a different team than on the weekends.
Pit Stop makes a difference for single moms and the elderly by performing light maintenance on vehicles. The services include oil changes, brake maintenance, and belt replacement. No advanced car knowledge is needed to serve.
Our hope at Kids Planet is that it is the best hour of every child’s week! Our Kids team runs the secure check-in system and Adventure Store, as well as provides programming for all ages. Critter Corner is for kids 6 weeks to 2 years, Seaside Surf is for preschool 2-5 years old, Adventure Island is Kindergarten-2nd grade, and Wired is 3rd-5th grade.
We want Sagebrush to be a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our Security team helps monitor buildings and grounds during weekend services.
Remix is a fun an engaging experience for students in 6th-12th grade. Our Student team helps run check-in, weekly small groups, student events, and coordination and planning within student services.
Our Jail and Prison team brings Sagebrush services to more than 250 men, women, and children in detention centers in and around Albuquerque each week. New team members go through careful training and background checks. Teams of two or three people go each week to help facilitate services and also help inmates with next steps upon release.
M1ssion trips are often some of the most rewarding experiences someone can have. We send trips all over the United States and the world. We have several types of trips including Compassion, Construction, Medical, and Sports.
