Graphic Designer

Full-time benefits eligible position

We are looking for an artist capable of developing graphic layouts, branding, and multimedia elements. Design responsibilities include conceptualization and design of social media posts, series art, branding, apparel, posters, booklets, and other print or digital work. 

The focus of this position would primarily be on social media posts and story content.

GENERAL DESIGN SKILLS
  • Proficient in Adobe applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to conceptualize and develop projects for social media/web/print layouts.
  • Intermediate to advanced Photoshop knowledge and skills to complete digital illustrations from multiple images/sources.
  • Ability to work a project through phases from concept to rough layouts to final layouts.
  • Knowledge of pre-press formats and specifications to properly prepare press-ready art layout for submission to vendors.
  • Knowledge of social media/web/app formats and specifications to properly save artwork for web use.

QUALIFICATIONS

Maintenance Technician

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Status: Full-time, benefits-eligible position
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3 pm

 Sagebrush is in search of an individual who can manage advanced repair work with special construction assignments. This person will work alongside a team of highly qualified craftsmen, electricians, and custodial team members to collaborate on church building and maintenance projects. Together you will be working on creating and delivering projects you can look back on, and feel accomplished for completing together.

 Essential Profile

Seasoned Christian believer, teachable spirit, time managing, humble servant, decisive judgment, and a servant leader. 

Responsibilities
  • Complete advanced repairs and assigned building projects associated with, i.e., tile work, drywall/sheetrock repair, carpentry, plumbing repairs etc.
  • Observe the building/facility conditions and take necessary action to maintain and quickly repair issues.
  • Conduct commercial-level painting projects, and manage upkeep to our facilities along with working on general landscaping projects.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies used throughout the facility.
  • Have a basic understanding of HVAC and heating equipment and requirements.
  • Provide daily/weekly communication on assigned projects and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot to determine potential issues and prepare a maintenance plan for review.
  • Provide custodial support and lend a hand on an occasional basis.
  • Our multiple church locations require maintenance, so some travel is required. You must currently possess a valid and non-restrictive driver's license.

 

Qualifications
  • Have a dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and enjoy a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
  • Prior contractor or journeyman experience, or building maintenance is required.
  • Have a specialized skill-set in one or more of the following trades/skills: welding, drywall, demo, framing, electrical, carpentry.
  • Nice if you bring a minimum of 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Proactive; attending to issues and problems before they are requested.
  • Have an eye for detail and accuracy, and a proven track record of finishing assigned tasks efficiently and with excellence.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to varying schedules and level of work required from week to week.

Lead Photographer

Full-time benefits eligible position

 Do you love the idea of capturing powerful moments like baptisms or student team events with your photography skills? Does getting to lead a team of volunteers sound like something that will fill your spiritual tank and ignite your creative passions? Sagebrush is looking for a photographer with organizational and leadership skills to help spearhead our photography initiatives and team.

 Responsibilities include capturing moving and encouraging photos each weekend, putting together a team of campus volunteer photographers, and overhauling the archival and upload processes for all Sagebrush photos.

 If you've got your photography skills and a passion for leading and coaching others in the creative process, this could be the role of a lifetime!

 RESPONSIBILITIES

The lead photographer will be in charge of putting together training for photo volunteers and will work with the Creative Team to be sure that the photos captured reflect the standard of excellence we need for the Sagebrush Brand. This role will often collaborate with those in social media, communications, and creative roles.

  • Photograph Saturday and Sunday services across all Sagebrush locations.
  • Photograph events and gatherings throughout the week.
  • Create social media reels, stories, and other engaging video content.
  • Build out training materials and onboarding process for volunteers.
  • Actively recruit volunteers and train them on the process and Sagebrush Brand expectations.
  • Edit photos and deliver photos as requested.
  • Reorganize and maintain a sustainable photo archive system.
  • Research photo trends across social media and share ideas that complement our brand.
  • Brainstorm new ways to utilize the Photo Team.

 Note: Your photography portfolio (PDF or website link) or demo reel will be required to be eligible to apply for this position.

 QUALIFICATIONS
  • A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and live a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
  • Attention to detail is your passion while maintaining a creative eye in the production of photography projects.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant photography experience.
  • Experienced with large-scale events and professional photography in a church setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of graphics software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • A degree or related qualifications are preferred.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to work with creatives.
  • Experience in leadership roles, recruiting and leading volunteers is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to work on tight deadlines, able to be flexible with change.
  • Experience using project management software, like Monday.com.
  • Comfortable with Canon equipment.
  • Video experience and skills would be amazing.

Discipleship Pastor

Albuquerque, NM

Responsibilities

Videographer

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Two (2) Positions

If you enjoy the opportunity to be in different roles such as director, story writer, editor, scriptwriter, etc., this is the role for you! You'll be part of a larger creative team that requires collaboration and a proactive work ethic, including a self-motivated drive and a passion for excellence in video and streaming content projects.

Sagebrush is seeking an experienced videographer to create inspiring videos and streaming media for Sagebrush. These videos will vary greatly from documentary-style to narrative script-based videos. They’ll also contribute to multiple video projects from concept to completion and run point for tasks such as scouting locations, cinematography, lighting, editing, and exporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to produce a project from conception to completion.
  • Enjoy working with direct talent and provide feedback for the best possible outcome.
  • Openness to critique and enjoy the idea of working alongside other videographers.
  • Knowledge of all types of cameras, lighting, and production gear.
  • High level of experience with lighting, audio, lenses, and camera systems.
  • Manage your time well and thrive on meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Transport, set up, and operate video equipment on location and studio.
  • Manage and schedule volunteers and staff, working alongside our producers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and live a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
  • Attention to detail is your passion while maintaining a creative eye in the production of team projects.
  • Multi-tasking ninja skills; being comfortable with various team projects and managing multiple competing priorities.
  • If you have experience in filmmaking, that's great. We would love to see your work. If you’re just starting out, not an issue for us, send in your portfolio link.
  • Proficiency in Premiere or another non-linear editing program.
  • Other possible skills or background experience that would be beneficial to an individual applying for this position include illustration and animation.
